The Heroic Deeds and Major Events in Thai History permanent exhibition defines “Heroic Deeds” as the valiant acts of individuals or groups of Thai heroes and heroines, elite or commoners, who sacrificed themselves to protect their communities. During a crisis, some might use peaceful means while others resorted to more aggressive measures. Their choices depended on intelligence, sound judgment and shrewd decisions for the benefits and peace of the future generations in the centuries to come.
