The long history of Thai Culture has created the deep pride love, and devotion of being “Thai” and led to the harmony of the nation. It presents the development of the Thai people from their first settlement in pre-historic times to the Thai kingdom in Rattanakosin period.

The content of the exhibition is divided into 4 parts.

Part 1 : Development of cultures in Thailand, Pre-historic Age, Ethnography, Language and Physical Attributes of Various Communities in Thailand


Part 2 : Human Settlement in Thailand :
the Hunter-Gatherer Community, the Agricultural Society, the Urban Settlement.



Part 3 : Relations with Foreign Cultures
          The contact with  the outside and  the acceptance of other civilizations , for instance , from China, India, and  Cambodia, the adaptation  and  the  mixture  between   the  outside  and   native cultures, and the  travelling routes-including  both  land  and  sea
are mentioned.


Part 4 : The Development of the Thai Kingdom

he  transformation  from  the  township  into  the Thai Kingdom  and  the  emergences   of   Thai   States   such  as Haripunchai, Chiangmai, Lanna, Sukhothai and Rattanakosin,
are presented.
